In order to receive the qualifications, candidates have to pass relevant examinations. In order to sit the Professional level examination, candidates must previously have passed the Associate level for the same product.

What are the Certification Examinations?
The associate certification examination consists of 30 multiple choice questions to be completed in 1 hour. The professional certification examination is a performance based 90 minute examination. More information on these examinations is available. Click here.
Where and when do they take place?
Examinations are run on a regular base at Paradigm’s offices. For further information on dates/times etc., look at our training/examination schedule. Click here.
What do they cost?
Associate exams cost €50 per person. Professional level exams cost €125 per person. Assessment tests cost €20. Practice tests cost €30 and are included in the costs of all standard courses undertaken at Paradigm.
How do I prepare for the exams?
Paradigm runs regular preparation courses for AutoCAD certification at both Associate and Professional levels. These are fastrack intensive hands-on 1 day courses for existing AutoCAD users, which specifically focus on helping you to pass the relevant certification exams. They include a certification practice test at the end of the course. For further information on when these courses run and how much they cost, click here.
If you are new to AutoCAD or have limited experience, you should attend an AutoCAD Essentials course. This is a 4 day course, which covers all the main features of the software, to enable you to use the product effectively. This course is the recommended training course prior to taking AutoCAD certification exams.
For other products, such as Civil 3D, Map, Revit and 3DS Max, Paradigm run regular training courses, designed not only to ensure a high level of competence in the relevant product but also to prepare attendees for the appropriate Autodesk certification.
In addition to being an Autodesk Authorised Certification Centre (ACC), Paradigm is also an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre (ATC) and complies with Autodesk quality criteria in terms of trainer qualifications, centre facilities, maximum attendees and courseware. All courses run at Paradigm use Autodesk Official Training Courseware (AOTC), on which the certification exams are based. All courses now also include a practice test for the relevant certification.
