Typical IT support and maintenance contracts charge for on-site cover even if problems do not occur. This can substantially increase the cost of your support contract. In the past, companies could justify the expense of having this “just in case” cover but in today’s tough climate we are finding that our customers want to make savings where possible.

Taking this into account, Paradigm has introduced new, reduced cost contracts which, provide the same essential 4-hour response service level for your critical equipment (servers etc.), delivered by the same experienced technical staff. However, the big differences are that all critical equipment is primarily supported via remote technology and non-critical equipment is dealt with on a billable as required basis. You still receive an 8-hour response time on non critical equipment but if there are no problems during the contract term, there is no charge.

As part of this reduced cost support, Paradigm Engineers will configure automatic eMail notifications to allow constant monitoring of Backup failures, Server errors, Network problems and potential Security breaches.

IT specialists can carry out the following tasks remotely:

Day to day operational Support
Server & PC Troubleshooting
Network & Server Monitoring
System Administration

While the majority of problems can now be handled remotely, some still require site visits. Therefore, as part of this support solution, Paradigm can also provide 4-hour and 8-hour “onsite” response services, if required. Onsite calls can be integrated into the overall contract price or can be billed at an hourly rate.

Server Monitoring (Disk space, Health & Performance)

5. Ongoing System planning and annual review of all aspects of system operation
